Sometimes I hate when I'm right

Fox, already losing confidence in one of their shows, at decided to postpone it until January. New Amsterdam, a show about an immortal detective, will be delayed so they can keep a successful game show running. So now two of the shows on Fox I wanted to see, this, and The Sarah Connor Chronicles, will be starting in January. Why would a network constantly green-light shows only to back out at the last minute. Fox did this to Firefly, Drive, and, several years ago, Sliders. How do they expect these shows to make it if they don't give them a chance? I hate Fox.
