One of those self-indulgent posts

So, I'm sitting here at work, eight hours into my twelve and a half hour shift, thinking about soda. This is what I'm drinking now:

This is what I wish I were drinking:
That's right, I wish I was drinking what looks like 5 12-packs, 47 12-ounce cans, and 6 20-ounce bottles of surge. ALL AT ONE TIME!
What does this have to do with science fiction and/or fantasy? Nothing. Except Surge was definately a soda before its time. It was an innovator. It pushed the bounds of the future.
Yes, it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm tired. Back to Surge.
Do you remember the spout soda cans had before Surge? They were long and skinny versus short and fat. Soda flowed slower through the mouth of the can. But Surge was meant to be drank fast. So they innovated the new mouth which made it possible to drink wonderfully caffeinated soda that looked like radiator fluid but still tasted a lot better than any energy drink on the market today. If I remember right, it was even better than Mountain Dew.
According to Wikipedia, Surge started in Norway and was called Urge. Norway is now the only country where the old Urge is sold. I wonder if I could find some on ebay.
Now there's this drink called Vault, that the company claims tastes similar (it doesn't, I could drink Surge). But it lacks a large part of what made Surge cool--The Radioactive Green Color!
Okay, this post looks weird, but again, I'm tired. And I realized it's been over a week since my last post. So, for anyone who actually reads this--there you go.
